Gimme Classic Golf Tournament

It’s time again for The Annual Lafayette Gimme Classic Golf Tournament!!

What: 18-hole Scramble Golf Tournament, BBQ, and prizes!
Where: Golf Mont Cascades
When: Monday, September 29, 2025
Timeline: Bus departs the Laff at 10:30am SHARP! 11am BBQ. 12:30pm tee off
PAR THEN BAR: 6:30pm return to the Laff for the After Party; drinks, prize hand out, and awards.
BBQ: 1 burger and sausage each (sorry, no substitutions)
Cost: $700 per team or $175 per person (individual sign ups are limited)

- First and last name for each player
- Phone number for the team captain
- Number of players taking the bus. Bus limited to 40 spots! First paid, first served. The tournament fee includes the bus and there is no opt out.

Payment accepted by e-transfer (please write the names of the players in the comments). You can also pay at the Laff by cash, credit, or debit.

CKCU Live at the Laff

Tenured local radio station, CKCU FM 93.1 is celebrating 50 years of broadcasting in Ottawa in November and we are celebrating them at the Laff!

Their program, "Canadian Spaces" hosted by Chris White, will go LIVE from 10am to Noon right at the Laff. Featuring many live musical acts, spanning all genres, and featuring some of Ottawa's extremely talented musicians, it's going to be a really cool morning. Immediately following that, "The Back 40", hosted by Pat Moore, long-standing performer at the Laff, will welcome Bluegrass and Classic Country talents, leading into the Lucky Ron Show at 4pm.

The Laff will open early at 10am, kitchen and bar, so come on by and get an early start to your Saturday. No cover, as always, come be a part of this unique moment in Ottawa history.

Our peameal bacon & egg sandwich will surely compliment this highly Canadian morning!
